Does anyone have any suggestions as to why things are not tracking?
Do you explicitly clear them just before you go to make a cashback tracked purchase? if you've got a retailers 'non-referral' cookie there before you go via the cashback site you'll not get the new cookie to track your sale and flag it up as referred via a the cashback site0 -
No, I don't clear them before and I regularly visit ebay so maybe that is the problem with ebay, however this never used to be a problem. With the other sites (gambling etc) I have never visited the sites before so it should not be a problem.
If I use google chrome as a cashback only browser, do the google chrome cookies operate independently to firefox cookies? In theory could I browse ebay on firefox and then go on google chrome to ebay through a cashback site or would this also be a problem?0 -

yup that should work but you'd need to remember to clear your cookies EVERY TIME as eventually you might pickup a different referrer/non-referred cookie in that browser too and start getting caught.
They tell you to do that quite explicitly certainly on TCB, i've always done so and never had a tracking problem0 -
Yeah I will clear it everytime in future, is is sufficient just to clear cookies from the in browser options or would I need to run ccleaner everytime?0
-
I use firefox and do it within the browser (using their 'clear everything' option) just before hopping onto TCB, always worked fine that way for me0

Ok cheers for the advice0

Still nothing tracking for me, I have set up a google chrome browser specifically for cashback only. I also have it set to delte all cookies when exiting the browser, is that recommended?0
-
Yes that will be fine, use FF for browsing and when you find what you like... Open Chrome - go to the cashback site - Click through the link to the shop and buy.0

First cashback tracked for 6 months using chrome as a separate browser, cheers lads0
