Travellers Cheques

I have some very old Travellers Cheques that I will not be using again, and want to know, can I cash these in? I have lost the original receipt that came with them.

    There shouldn't be a problem in doing so - as long as the issuer is still in business!

    I forgot to say they are American Express Travellers Cheques.

    Definitely no problem then - though the bank/whatever may have to ring Amex to confirm they are OK - and there may well be a commission

    If they are Sterling T/Cs they should be commision free and according to my local Bureau De change can be paid into your bank account free of charge too, details HERE.
