make sure you negotiate and 'umm and arrr' with them....
can't remember the details, but I got a one off credit of £17.50 on top of what they were offering.... (make sure you know what the competitors can offer on the same deal....)0 -
NB - Quidco have extended their £75 cashback for another month!"Cheap", "Fast", "Right" -- pick two.0

I was still deciding last night and refreshed the Quidco page and was horrified to see it shoot down to £40! LOL, still haven't decided, but at least I have more time! :jka7e wrote:NB - Quidco have extended their £75 cashback for another month!"I did then, what I knew then. I got 9 months half price on a 12 month contract. The text, talk, video 700 package. 400 mins, 250 txts, 25 video, 25 picture and a fiver of d/l. Plus a V3x to sell on ebay. No cashback, all credited to account already.
Mrs didnt need as much, got a £15 quid a month package for 12 months. Got 200 mins, 100 txts and the video, picture and d/l pack. Plus another V3x to sell on Ebay. Again all credited to account, no cashback.
Thought these weren't too bad deals. Was offered 6 months only at first. All arranged directly to 3.0 -
Has anyone done the quidco and recommend a friend together?"I did then, what I knew then. And when I knew better, I did better"0

I have recently upgraded 2 contract with 3 one for me and one for my brother. The plan we were on was/is Talk&Text 600, which basically meant I was getting 500 txt and 100 msg for £30. My brother contract was up first so I rang 3 on his behalf and asked to cancel my contract with 3, they put me through the retention team, who initially offered me only 3 month free with a rubbish LG handset, I refused claiming that O2 were offering me the same 500min and 100txt for only £15 per month with the latest handset, immediately they matched that offer, by giving me a credit of £178.50 and the sony ericsson k800i, which work out 6 months free or £15 for 12months.
For my self I phoned only last week, again phoned to say I wish to cancel my contract as o2 are offering me 500mins and 100txt for £15 per month on a 12 months contract and the latest handset. This time the person was pushing me for an 18 months contract, but I told the advisor I would never take out 18 months contract. So he offered me 4 months free plus Nokia 6280, I refused saying o2 would offer me the n93, the person then gave a final offer of 5 months free, again I refused and asked for him to cancel my contract, he then asked if he could put me on hold, he came back and offered me £180 credit plus n73, which I took.
So my advice is be persistant, it takes about 20-30 mins of bargaining before they finally give in. Also the O2 offer was just an imaginary made up deal.0 -

People have done it already - I am sure there will be noting on the site to prevent it. Since it will take 2 months for the awards to be processed, no one will know for sure until then.

Time well spent! You and your brother were well rewarded! He shoulda bought you a drink for that negotiation.
3 seem flexible and try to match offers unlike Orange who seem happy to let their customers walk........ (personal opinion only)
I am pretty sure that if you ring direct sales on 0800 358 9571 there might be a spare N70 rolling around......(I haven't called, this is just a gut feeling).0 -
Just re-negotiated my contract with 3,even though it doesn't run out until 7th October.
Got 1500 minutes and 300 texts, for the first 3 months,it then goes to half of that, (What I currently have.) and it's £30 pm for the duration of the 12 month contract.I also get the Nokia 6233.
Coupled with the fact I've just signed my missus to 3 via Quidco, (£22.50) on a 12 month free deal of 800 minutes and 500 texts for the first 3 months, and then half after that, with a Nokia 6280,it will work out over the duration,of both phones for £30 pm.
Not bad I thought, but I have to say, when talking to 3 about my contract, they were hard work to get them to give me what I wanted.I was on 24 minutes with them.
Ken.That's my mutt in the picture above.0
