P.S.
In terms of Puerto Del Carmen Vs Costa Teguise...
Puerto Del Carmen appears very very English, full of English bars and restaurants and a bit more lively. Costa Teguise has also gone more in that direction over the past years (since I first went), but is still more multi-national and although it was always built for tourists, it seems to have more traditional aspects to it, such as the little squares of restaurants/bars and the general design of the landscape.
On the downside, it was a huge shame to see the closure of some lovely restaurants (including one of my favourites; La Provence), and in place seems to be Chinese buffet, chinese buffet, chinese buffet, all trying their very hardest to get you to eat there!
Average price for a good fish dish or steak was approx €12.00 - Hard to give you average prices as I don't really know what you eat, an example of simple starter (tomato garlic bread) was €2.70.0 -
We prefer Playa Blanca over any of the other resorts.
Costa Teguise felt a bit run down when we were there - lots of empty shops and the hotels are a bit 1970s.
PDC is too brash for my liking.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0
