Sony Ericsson X10 Experia to Pc
I got myself a new Sony Ericsson X10 XPERIA and I cannot get it connected to my Pc using my usb cable so yesterday I went and bought a bluetooth dongle and still I cannot pair the devices up. I have had no problem with my other phones and am totally stuck as to why I can`t pair my Pc and mobile. Please help.
P.S.
If anyone is thinking of buying a Sony Ericsson X10 XPERIA then don`t bother as I can have it on charge for 12 hours and the battery is dead if I use it for half hour. Basically all apps and everything else on it and it just kills the battery so I can`t even show it off when I am out because the battery just dies.
I sent Vodafone an email about this problem and they didn`t want to know.

Have you checked it's not being blocked by either a firewall or virus killer ?
Can you get anything else to work on the same USB port ?
Have you tied other USB ports ?
If you're using a USB hub trying plugging in to a port on the pc directly.0 -
Or have you tried reading the manual?
As an example if you dont shut apps they will eat battery life - therefore download app killer
If you dont tell the phone that its connected it wont connect - therefore mount the memory card'Just because its on the internet don't believe it 100%'. Abraham Lincoln.
I have opinions, you have opinions. All of our opinions are valid whether they are based on fact or feeling. Respect other peoples opinions, stop forcing your opinions on other people and the world will be a happier place.0 -
i was having a read of SE x10 blogs yesterday, loads of people complaining (infact almost all of the people commenting on the blogs i read) about the battery life being just a few hours. quite a few were cribbing about the 1.6 android and no multitouch etc. i didnt know it was 1.6 android as was myself considering the x10 but didnt buy it as wasnt happy with my SE phone before i bought the desire in may on upgrade.
if the phone is faulty as in not fit for use, then bug customer services and tech teams so much that they feel better to get rid of you.
read up some SE x10 blogs and see if you can find any workaround that others found useful if you are stuck to the contract with no getout options.
ps: was just reading the x10 blogs because i was trying to find better ways of getting battery life on android phones and also tips for getting better signal etc, so got to that blog by accident while reading other googled posts.
pps: battery life usually gets better by some conditioning, ie charging discharging in my personal experience using various gadgets including my htc desire. plus you could instal some power control widgets, these may have been provided by your manufacturer or youy can get others on android market. read the manual to see if these widgets are provided by SE or download others from the market.
try other usb ports on your computer, see if there is a loose contact.bubblesmoney :hello:0 -
