got a neg from a serial negger

My small private account has been badly hit by a neg from someone who leaves a lot of random negs. She is complaining that I would not combine postage even though she bought more than one item from me, but she only ever actually bought one thing ...

I'm really cross and i've phoned ebay and they just gave me the usual waffle about asking buyer to remove the feedback and sending a revision form through..but looking at her record of leaving feedback I do not believe this to be accidental.

So far my stars have not been hit, the dashboard says the stars are updated daily so I will try again later.

I wonder if she got you confused with another seller if she only bought the 1 item from you.

It's got to be worth sending a revision request, she may have genuinely mixed you up.

I've emailed to ask her so fingers crossed she'll do a feedback revision.

However her negs are rarely justified, one poor seller who was selling 3 inch candles for weddings got a neg as 3 inches was too small for her tables. Another seller got negged because the item took 5 days to arrive when seller promised next day delivery, the seller responded to that one by saying 'but you didn't pay until day 4?'. Another neg was because a black feathery type hair decoration was too black..and they are all basically like that.

She's left 28 feedback, 18 of which were either a neutral or a neg.

Surely Common sense wise ebay should be looking at buyers like this under the new

Protecting Sellers from buyers who misuse the feedback system policy

I know ebay and common sense don't go together.

You would have thought so wouldn't you. I have reported them under mis use of the feedback system so will wait and see what happens. I may report them again tomorrow.

I think the seller though is playing the system, this is not accidental. She has started to leave a higher percentage of positives now, but with vaguely negative comments like 'item fine but really terrible seller, avoid. I get the impression she has a bee in her bonnet about somthting, a close read also suggests that she has never asked for a refund nor started an ebay claim, she just finds fault with everything.

I';m really sorry but even though this is only my private account I still prefer it not to be known. I get a lot of abusive pms on here as well as hate pms and would not want them to track me onto ebay as well where they can do more than just call me names.
