Working Lunch is not on for the next two weeks because of Wimbledon and it stops for good at the end of July:eek:
You are going to need a digital recorder within the next two years so why not bite the bullet now?
You can get one for less then £100 if you shop around. Some of them are a little temperamental so make sure you get one with a good reputation.
They are axing working lunch? They can't!! What are people going to do for their financial daily news now?
Don't buy any new digital recorder until analogue has been switched off and HD freeview tuners are commonplace in all TV's and recorders. Otherwise you will need to update again soon after!0 -
Another "solution", why not watching it on BBC iPlayer?

That's where your license fee goes...0 -
Could be a cabling problem or the aerial itself. If its happened recently then it may be the cable, if its always been like it then that would point to the aerial.
If it happened recently there's also a pretty good chance that the channel BBC2 is on is now being broadcast at a lower power, and will be turned off completely next.
If the OP wants to record the channels he can't get on analogue, a temporary solution would be to invest in a 20 quid freeview STB, and use it as a source for recording. I really wouldn't advise anyone to buy a new DVR, since DVB-T2 is coming soon. They say it's genetic, they say he can't help it, they say you can catch it - but sometimes you're born with it0 -

Good idea I didn't think of that.weegie.geek wrote: »I really wouldn't advise anyone to buy a new DVR, since DVB-T2 is coming soon.
How long is soon? 5 years?
Surely the old ones will still work even after DVB-T2 is implemented0 -

Thanks for the replies. Plan to borrow my friend's internal aerial and see if i can get a strong signal for bbc2. It was working fine over 4 months ago and the aerial/cabling has not been disturbed.
When i bought the LCD tv over a year ago i could not get ITV, C4, and C5. After much searching i have put it down to the aeriel which is over 20 years old. Since i can get other freeview channels and have virgin cable i have not bothered to upgrade the aerial. Will decide what to do with the aerial after the digital switchover.Problem with having access to internet is that i get asked by many to solve their problemsWell at least i learn something on the way
