  • Hi everyone. I have to tell you about all the points I got last night between vouchers and till spits. I spend £20 (actually £19 something) and with all the extra point vouchers and till spits, I got 451 points on the one shop! I was thrilled. My husband was amazed. Thanks for everyone in MSE telling me about all the till spits and extra points. :T
  • i am having a thick moment, what are till spills everyone talks about ??????
  • sorry till SPITS

    sorry till SPITS
People call them both till spits or till spills. :) They're little vouchers for either money off or, more commonly, extra points, that come out of the Tesco tills right after your receipt.
  • thanks Dormouse for that, new to all this tesco malarky:p :p:p
  • Well I have to report back to you all and say that my cunning plan and clever combination and usuage of vouchers resulted in an amazing saving today.

I had £50 worth of clothing (including womens, back to school and toddler clothing) for the cheap as chips price of 26p gaining a whopping 1312 clubcard points in the process. (That just over £52 at MFI).

Now I did also purchase other everyday essentials but the total bill was £82.96 - balance to pay was only £20.11 but once I deduct the milk, cat food etc from the total, my clothing purchases came to 26p. I even gained 8 points for my carrrier bag usage.

In celebration of this excellent result I have changed my avatar for one day only - Mr T I love you !!!

PS Had a 1/2 price voucher for Olay moisturiser so got it for £3.75 but the expired £1.00 of £4 spend did not work or the current toiletry vouchers. But due to how much I saved today I will use it another day.
