Now back to points, I have a double points voucher so thanks for that wasn't including it in my original post.

    I have a 500 points voucher for a £20 spend on clothing = 500 points
I have 2 till spits for 250 points on back to school clothing = 500 points
I have a 100 point voucher for toddler clothing

so that is where my points come from, plus another 50 for the original clothes purchase so now 1,150 - Welshy x

ps yes we are too alike - waiting for coupon-mad to join in soon too

:T WOW! Well done, points and savings, double bag here for WelshDragon!

    :grouphug:

I bow down to you, oh great MSE'r!!!

  • Well what can I say it all comes from knowledge - which is why the blue clothing vouchers are great because come the January sales they too can be combined and there will be lots more bargains to be had. My cunning plan is great in theory but in practice if I get a crabby till operator I may have no success at all. Still well worth a try

Well here I am, can't miss a thread about coupons!!!!!!! :rotfl:

Have been a bit busy with the 4 kiddies plus an extra one sleeping over now!

I was well impressed to read about this voucher saving. I'm planning a similar trip, only trouble is my local big Tesco with clothing is having a refit and doesn't have shoes out at the moment. Big problem for me as I have an extra points coupon for £15 spent on footwear, was obviously planning to combine it with the other vouchers.

I may have to spend a bit more on petrol to try out a completely new store, will make a change - but what if I find they are anti-voucher??? I think I would leave it all at the till and say, OK then, you don't want my vouchers I don't want this stuff! I would too, especially as it's not my local store!

Welshy, we've just celebrated our anniversary a couple of weeks ago, and something else we have in common is that it was our 16th too!

Happy anniversary to all of you celebrating soon! :T

No I hadn't caught up with MSE all day! Well done, what a great win, you are on a roll!

I went to Clarks this week and was pleased to be able to buy my son's £32 shoes with vouchers (partly Bonus Bonds and partly a Clark's Credit note, both bought on eBay a few months ago!). But the vouchers had cost not a huge amount less than face value, so the saving wasn't great, but it felt good not to dust off the credit card there for once!

    Have fun, happy comping/shopping!
