Hi, I wish to be open a basic bank account without a credit check being done, can anyone confirm which banks will definitely not carry out such a check? Been considering an RBS or HSBC account, does anyone know these bank's processes well to say for definite? And if I can ask a follow up, if the account were opened, the…

Don't think Barclays or Co-op do as they are BR friendly. My ex is BR and opened a Barclays account despite owing them money in BR and they gave him his account number there and then.
