  • I use the Aldi one & have never had any problems. Used to use the clumping litter from wilkinsons but there was no difference with the aldi one except for the 80p price difference.

    Hi Princess kate.
I found the Aldi one was more dust than anything else and would choke with the dust cloud.
We could smell what the kitten had done as soon as we got through the front door :O. Maybe it was a dud pack lol

  • I buy the wood pellet litter from Morrisons. I think it's under £4 & I find it better than other supermarket brand wood litter. I also think the litter tray is easier to clean than with other litters.

I too use the wood pellets, get mine from pets at home, or an independent pet store near me.
much better than other litters at absorbing smells, only problem is when it breaks down I get little sawdust paw prints all over my carpets!!

I've just finished a bag of Tesco Value cat litter. It's the first time I've used it, but it was all I could get at the time. It's as good as all the other more expensive lightweight cat litters, doesn't smell and dries out quickly wne mixed. I'll defo be getting it again.

None of my cats have ever got on with the wood pellets, I think they've found the smell off putting and they've been too large for them to comfortably stand in. But I guess it's whatever they get used to. Myself I loved the smell of them.

Another vote for Tesco Value, low price, low dust, low smell and no saw- dusty paw prints!
Be who you are, say what you feel, those who mind don't matter, those who matter don't mind.
They say that talking to yourself is a sign of mental illness. So I talk to the cats instead.

Co-op lightweight cat litter works well for us as we don't end up with dust throughout the house. Remember you don't need that much, little and changing often is the best approach.
  • we use tesco cat litter, its about £1.87 for a bag and seems to do the job
