car dealer selling car with no V5

  • It's great that it is on HP. Just phone finance company, tell them dealer has failed to supply the goods, and you are cancelling agreement. The finance company is jointly liable for supply of the goods (car)

After this amount of time - you don't want the car, there has to be another problem, as the dealer still has no V5, and they take only a week or so to arrive.

Call finance company and unwind the deal - then follow up in writing - listen to what the finance company are saying, and if neccessary get professional advice, but I would be very inclined to walk away - this all sounds a bit like a strange deal.
Unless it is damaged or discontinued - ignore any discount of over 25%
