Just clicked on this link and got a Trojan Horse warning :eek:"Men are generally more careful of the breed(ing) of their horses and dogs than of their children" - William Penn 1644-1718

If your mum was going an a blind date, or employing an electrician she probably wouldn't dream of letting someone into her house with just an email and whatever they say thier name is. Anyone half-sensible would want at least a few details, to have met the person before and/or something solid they could be traced to later, like that they worked for an established local firm with a good reputation. I'm sure your mum is usually an entirely sensible lady but there's nothing like a puppy (read baby) to an older lady with no one to love. Which is EXACTLY why it's such a great scam. The scamsters have found a way to get someone to drop thier usual guard totally- just add puppy photo's, practically genius if scamstering is your trade eh.
For goodness sakes tell her not to proceed any further, to do so would be a very silly move.I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
(Ok, one of them is powerless, spiders can be nasty.)
As of the last count I have cleared [STRIKE]23.16%[/STRIKE] 22.49% of my debt.

Hi all,
Thank you so much for your responses.
When the 'seller' emailed back they were in Scotland and would freight the pup down to them my Mum realised I was not just being over cautious.
I have called an accredited breeder from the KC for a chat and she was lovely – I have passed the details to my Mum.
Go you guys for finding some rescues, I tried blue cross and RSPCA and Google and did not get any joy. So I will pass these on too.
(I am biased, all mine are rescues and ace so I kinda would like her to get one too)
Once again guys, thanksPlease note I have a cognitive disability - as such my wording can be a bit off, muddled, misspelt or in some cases i can miss out some words totally...0 -
Frug, that happened to some people a month or so back. I think it was something to do with one of the ads or links on there.
Ive got full kaspersky internet security suite plus super anti spy and nothing shows on mine when I go there.
Photo below of Mia, Ollie, sophie and Mo. Says they must be homes in pairs.0 -

A pair of older chi's might be a lot nicer for your mum than one pup in a lot of ways.
I admit I have a heavy bias to rehomed dogs too. I've never bought a pet larger than a bunny... Oh no that's a lie, I never bought the bunnies come to think of it! Ok I reduce this to a hamster!I refuse to be afraid of the big bad wolf, spiders, or debt collection agencies; one of them's not real and the other two are powerless without my fear.
