How pathetic your neighbours must be. Just continue as before, parking where you see fit. What are they going to do about it exactly?!0

Honestly, you have no idea! One of them sits in her window keeping tabs on everything going on in the lane - the one-woman neighbourhood watch lol.
Although I should point out that we were sort of trying not to stoop to their level. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0 -
Wait a few years while their cheap inch thick tarmac job starts to sink and they all argue with each other when no-one wants to part with any of their cash to get it re-done.0

Hopefully at least one of the coffin-dodgers will be dead by then.

If they own the land might be worth having a party for clumsy people who might trip on their new private road.
I am puzzled to how they bought half the lane? If its a 2 way road with no parking restrictions on your side then
owning that land maybe useless. If you park your car 1st they would be causing an obstruction.
I would be tempted to buy & insure a car and leave it there 24/7.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
I'd just ignore them, personally, and continue parking wherever you like. Bark>bite.0

Very MSE. :rotfl:If you lend someone a tenner and never see them again, it was probably worth it.0 -
Or how about, buy some old shed, put THEIR name and address on the V5 and leave it there when they're not looking! Untaxed and uninsured of course.0

I heard a variation on this story. A business in London was plagued by a traffic warden who would pounce on and ticket their customers. Somehow they found out the warden's details and bought an old banger and parked it on a yellow line on their patch, then proceeded to watch said warden give the car ticket after ticket over the course of a couple of weeks when the car was clamped and towed away.
Imagine trying to tell the council that the car wasn't yours...LOL"If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur." -- Red Adair0
