I've not heard of this, and never had a problem. I quick search of the forum only brings up positive results.

guys please dont argue, its just a tv after all

have emailed ebuyer and will see what they say.

will let them know there answer ( eg example of CS is like ) on here. will also see if trading standards say I should chase under SOGA as thats a little vague but looks hopefull.

it will be 19 months old on 26 of june.

hopefully ebuyer will see sense, soga, bad publicity etc....

Have contacted ebuyer and they have asked me to return it. Will repair or replace. Cant say fairer than that!

Have contacted trading standards 'just in case' but looking like I never needed too.

Hopefully it will be back before england final in July :-)

A neighbour of mine had the same picture problem,turned out to be caused by a faulty Sky HD box.

Just to say ( as credit where its due IMHO )

I thought this would turn into a nightmare. BUT ebuyer, even though out of 12 month warranty, arranged a collection. Tested it and found it faultly. Refunded the full original price in a credit note. And let me pick another TV as mine no longer stocked. Now I have a bigger one ( I just paid the difference. Free delivery and back within 72 hours. All completly hassle free.

SO FAIR PLAY TO EBUYER IN MY OPINION!
