Changing Sky services

At the moment we have 2 Sky+ HD boxes and 1 normal Sky box. As my brother's moving out in a couple of months, we want to cancel his subscription. One of the Sky+HD boxes is in his bedroom and we were wondering if it could be moved into the living room to replace the standard Sky box.

If it is possible, would we need to get a Sky engineer to do it, or could we do it ourselves. We don't want to use it as an HD box, just as a Sky+ box.

Does anybody know if this sort of thing is possible or should we just contact Sky?

It is possible. If you don't feel confident drilling holes and feeding the second satellite cable from the dish to the second input on the sky+ box you may want to consider calling any local tv aerial installation engineer. It will be much cheaper than sky's engineer (and they'll probably be one and the same).
