thats not very nice... theres a lot of missing letters in your first post sort of readable...Sealed pot challenger # 10
1v100 £15/3000 -
How do you know it's undriveable? I've been driving round for 2 weeks with 1/2 of my exhaust missing (short drive to work/part not available/having one made)
You might have a VERY minor problem.
Have you thought to pop down to the garage where it was inspected and ask them what is up with the car? And how much it would cost to fix?
Exhausts are generally so cheap I would never consider an insurance claim for one.
And your first post was virtually unreadable, I have no idea what this means for instanceause the ar is not a total los or stoleUnless it is damaged or discontinued - ignore any discount of over 25%0 -

I've just had a full new exhaust fitted to my 206 yesterday for £135 while I waited at an inde garage. No way would I put that on the insurance if I had damaged it. Not worth it!0

Well there was a light post on the paving, which was removed by the council, part of this post was still left in the paving, which got tangled with the under carage of the car. The car would not move, and when the recovery arrived, the guy had to drage the car onto the recovery lorry. but your right, thats not to say its not drivable now!!
The car is still at the recovery pound and has still not seen the garage as yet. I was told last monday the car would be taken to a garage in Gravesend (I am in London) The car was inspected at the recovery pound on 9th June, I asked the insurance company to tell me what the report said, they told me it was fixable. I asked fo moe details, and the report just listed what was inspected.
As for the cost, I am will to ask on monday. All the claims dept would tell me is if it cost more than the excess, I would just pay the excess, or less.
The reason why I telephoned the car insurance company was because the car was stuck on the light post, I guess I thought if I contact them it would be completed quickly. I now know this was a dreadful thing to do.
Thanks for letting me know of the unreadable text, I have discovered the batteries had gone in the key board, I hope you are reading this text nowTrinidad - I have a number of needs. Don't shoot me down if i get something wrong!!0 -

You were rude to the first poster who criticised you for going through insurance, and said you weren't interested in what you could and should have done. You seem to be changing your tune now though... funny that.
