How lucky are you on the Lotto ???

I've had £10 to £200 prizes over the years
BUT
This week I had 5 Thunderball no's - As the balls were coming in & I was matching them (thinking £5, £10, £20, £100 etc.) I was like a rabbit in the headlights!! Had to double check a few times!!

Went to a lottery Post Office with the ticket/ID and to fill in a claim form. I took the max option of £500 cash and a cheque for £4,500.

It gives me a nice feeling as I can treat people around inc. a birthday, replace some items on their last legs (Bed/Armchair/Cooker etc. all MSE hopefully) and pamper me n puss!!! Had long shopping list that can clear now!! Also have some rainy day cash!!

Still think gonna wake up, weird how won as now 39 numbers in the draw and one number (bonus) away from £500,000

Already had the hard sell from the P.O. and my bank where I am going to put the £££!!

What was amazing was that I wasn't going to play BUT a neighbour gave me a surprise couple of quid for printing loads of stuff off the net (paper/ink) a few times and I thought I'd chance my luck!!

I get treated by a close friend when he comes into ££, had a laptop via him last week!! So I am glad I can splash out on him!!

I won 3.4 million on the lottery a few years back but woolies were having their closing down sale & I managed to spend it all in the one day - got som great pots, pans, cd's & an MP3 player though so all not lost (although I just have got some more batteries for the MP3 player while I had the chance)

    Congratulations on your win

The odds of winning £5k on old Thunderball were less than 300,000 to 1 but on the new game are over 620,000 to 1.

The guy in the Post Office said he normally works out the odds, only a handful of people win the 5k as it is. Don't think anybody has won the 500k yet!

    Suppose I beat the odds!!

Thanks for the thanks, I'm not boasting just had to share good news which is rare these days!!

Well done on your win. Most I have ever won is £100 and that was on the Thunderball. At the supermarket where I work a few weeks ago we had a lady come in and she asked the person on the kiosk to check her ticket. It said on the screen "Go to post office" so they checked how much she had won - it was £273,000!!!!
