help to work out when ovulating when trying to conceive?

You can buy sheap pee sticks off ebay £2 for 25 or so, theres i-net advice in fertility friend etc. TBH we tried for 14months with ds2 to get preg.I went to my GP after 12 months and he gave me the best advice ever. Stop worrying and enjoy trying. 6 weeks later i found out i was pregnant, he said all the worry of working out when you ovulate can mess up when you ovulate.. i didnt believe him but ds2 proved he was right!

I used Clearblue Ovulation kit with my first child for one month - I have regular cycle of around 30-31 days but was amazed to find using these that I ovulated around day 20 of my cycle, nearly a week later than the "average".

I've not used this company personally but I know on a baby forum I used to go on lots of the girls found them reasonably priced and you can get OPK sticks in bulk from www.accessdiagnostics.co.uk - don't buy Clearblue as they are soooooooo expensive.

I have PCOS and it took me near on four years to concieve my DD. DD is now almost 8mths old and i am now 8 weeks pregnant with my second.

Babies where concieved naturally but i did get advice from my GP and the consultant and nurses at the hospital.
On of the first thing i was asked if i was only having sex when i ovulated, {i was doing the temperture thing}. The consulatant said she see's a lot of couples who only have sex when the ovulation or temputure test said they are ovulating, and the best thing was go have regular sex {3-4 times a week}, as well as making sure you have sex a few days BEFORE and DURING ovulation. It can take a 2/3 days for the sperm to reach the egg, so she said a lot of people miss this even though the ovulate regulary becuase they have sex during.

Aparently a lot of couples ' save up' the sperm, but this is suppose to be a no no, as the seamen contain a lot of dead and old sperm.
