I've searched their website for the answer to this but can't find anything about it - i would be interested in the answer though as there are a few things I want from the clearance but can't afford the £8 delivery on each item.

It does say something about the postage will be levied according to what the website or tv says, but what this means isnt clear. Im almost 100% sure that they used to do this. There is a hint though as Caramelapplebetty says she bought 3 items for £18 which suggests they do allow you to buy as many as you want and only pay once for postage, as the £18 wouldnt make sense if they didnt.

It would be nice to get some confirmation though, or a point in the right direction.

I got a chair and stool for DS (via the website) for £19, which with p&p was still cheaper that the shops.
Also a set of 20 cds for mum for £7 (via the tv)

Postage is applicable for every single item NOT per order.

Thanx for that, however that is shocking.... what a rip off. If you bought 3 items it wouldnt cost nearly £20 to post them all.

Just to clarify - the 3 items were bought in a bundle not as separate items. Sorry to disappoint you!

is it just me or does the postage seem very expensive

Yes, its £7.99 min postage plus £1.50 call makes a set of candles for a fiver seem very dear.

They state they ship millions of items every year, i guess their profit is in the postage.

I think rip off postage should be banned!!

I have had three items that never arrived and lots of exspensive calls to make to rectify the problem,Also goods were poor quality and a few items I have seen in cut price stores much cheaper.Hence I no longer use Bid-Up TV.
Never pay more than you have too

I spose if u don't like the postage cost you don't have to buy from them! With some items its easier than going to town and carrying something heavy on public tranpsort, or the p & p cost may sometimes be less than using your car and paying for car parking, going to a shopping centre and spending money in other shops too on the way;)

  • My Dad ordered from Pricedrop TV last year, he won something (If I remember rightly it was a set of CD's or DVD's) & paid with his VISA card. When he looked at his bank statement a month later he had over £1k taken from his bank account, this was traced back to an employer from the TV channel. It's made me wary of ordering anything from any of these TV channels now.
