Please help me choose a smartphone that will do this.

I'd prefer a touch screen. And pay as you go. Budget about £50.

Thanks.

Most Nokia phones except the basic ones will sync with Outlook using PC suite.

However, if you want a touch screen smartphone for £50, then you are probably going to have to extend your budget a tad. But it depends upon your definition of "smartphone".

The 5230 is just under £70, but not sure how smart that is.

    GD,

I've just had a look at the spec of the 5230 and it looks good. No wifi though.

The Nokia 5230 is pretty "smart". I had the 5800 which sync'ed just find with Outlook. The 5230 is just a cut down version but the OS is the same and has almost the same features, apart from WIFI of course.

Thanks both. I bought a used 5800 over the weekend for £65 so I've got wifi as well. 6 months old, boxed, complete except for warranty card/purchase receipt.

Any idea how I delete the previous owner's info? It has my own sim card in it.

Also, I was told it is Vodaphone but accepts T-mobile. My T-mobile sim works. Does that mean it is unlocked?

my 5800 was also a vodafone payg and it too was unlocked. I had a three sim in mine. i think u can hard reset holding camera + hangup + power buttons on bootup. i think there was a menu option to reset to factory too under phone|software settings or something like that. its been over 6 mths so cant remember. £65 is a very good price for the phone.

    Thanks parallax.

I'm not sure mine is unlocked, as it won't accept every sim card.

I haven't managed the factory reset and still have the previous owner's contacts list, although I deleted the text messages and photos. He also downloaded some ring tones that I like. How can I delete the contacts and keep the ring tones?
