Wow. Is this not just a suicide note for the business? Surely they can see this? Just watch them leave once the free credit is gone............0

Surely Easymobile could have done better than this, why don't they charge per minute like BT are going to!! So a 1min 1 sec call could be 30p!
Easymobile's Dutch operation went down the pan..who's next??0 -
I've sent them an email stating we aren't happy and will be leaving them soon. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... I think i will be off to the Virgin sim only with free broadband as im free to leave Orange bb now.I think that the minimal call charge of 15p will lose lots of their customers!........Neil0

Just got an email from easymobile.
They are changing the way calls are charged!
Calls will continue to be charged per second but with a minimum call charge of 1 minute
Not so good if you make short calls.
They say that this is in line with competition but IMO not necessary and certainly not good for me.
However, the call charges are still reasonable and i have some free credit0 -
a 15p minimum call charge then?
That, I believe, makes them the most expensive network with regards to a minimum call charge.
Most are still 5p aren't they with the exception of a few I think increased it to 10p.
It's not inline with other networks as yes the other networks do charge a minimum call charge but it's only a set fee of around 5p or 10p and isn't based on a minute.0 -

My guess is that people will use their remaining free credit and the ditch them for Virgin or Tesco Mobile.
Just my $2.

Agreed! EasyMobile are losing the plot. I've just requested my PAC code to switch over to Tesco mobile who have a minimum call charge of 5p. Also recommending friends I've got onto EasyMobile leave too.
First, EasyMobile introduced the automatic 'overdraft' which clobbered you for £5 if you didn't topup in time AND you had to 'opt out' of the facility not 'into it' which is very underhand IMO.
Second, they introduce a 15p minimum call charge and wrap it up as some kind of progress and I quote:
"This change has been made in line with the competition and will ensure we can continue to offer you great services."
In line with the competition eh? It's in line with something, the competition it most certainly isn't.0 -
A reply from easyMobile following my complaint about their new charges:
"Many thanks for you e-mail.
We thought long and hard about the introduction of this change, but with
things like lucky days, a very low on net tariff and good customer service -
we still feel we offer good value for money.
But we do thank you for your custom"
When I then said that I had left, the reply was simply "No Problem".
On the basis that there is no logic to their plans, given that Virgin & Tesco amongst others don't charge this sort of sum, something else must be happening - creative accounting perhaps?
The easyMobile email came from someone with the odd title of Head of Channel Development.........0 -
