    Thanks OP! I bought one of these for my mum when the price was cut to £6.49, and went back in y'day and got a refund on the difference! massive saving of £1.60 :)

    Just saw this thread and I am interested in getting one as me and the bf will be moving out into our first place soon.

    But after some advice as I'm not really sure what slows cookers are all about? Are they mainly for meat? Me and the bf are veggie so what sort of stuff could we do in this?

    no there not just for meat, I make all sorts in mine, soups etc

    There some fab recipes and threads in these forums somewhere - found it here.

    do a google search for vegetarian slow cooker recipies.

    :P It took 2.5 hours... and it lied, it was a pudding not a cake, it just had a cakey top, but it still tasted yummy, nom nom nom :D:T
