Item not recieved but tracking says it has?

I have a weird buyer who bought an item late sunday night their item went by courier tues morning. By thursday i have a strange email asking where item is. By strange i mean no literacy and just about makes any sence. I check online tracking which says delivered with sig from customer at 12.07 email has been sent to me at 2pm.
So she should of been sat with it there!

Anyway i emailed her through ebay like she had and then today i get an email through my email acc telling me i haven't replied to her and that she has waited long enough (5days) and i have 2 more days otherwise she's getting her money back through pp.
Now the other strage thing is she lives about 10mins from me and i'm a little concerned. I thought it odd she didn't collect anyway as it's quite a heavy item so she could have saved the postage costs. I have again replied through both email and messaging pointing her in the direction of the tracking.

She only has 11fb and i'm not being funny she lives in a real scummy part of town so makes me think she's trying it on.
She's giving me until the 20th otherwise i'm getting a neg!
I'm not quite sure how to handle this one, as far as i'm concerned she's got the item and wouldn't win a pp claim as i have online tracking. But i don't want a neg either :(

We had a similiar thing happen to us, where a buyer said that they hadn't received an item from us, but the royal mail tracking stated delivered at that address (which he had confirmed) and showed the online signature (which was conveniently scrawled may I add). He ended up getting quite abusive and we had a dispute through paypal. Once we had provided the tracking number, signature proof (by fax) and sent them all the messages, we won the case. He did however leave us negative feedback, very annoying.

Liked you said if she opens a Paypal dispute you will win it as you have proof of delivery, so I wouldn't worry about that.

Have you told her that the items has tracked to delivered? Maybe copy and paste the same message through Ebay and to her Email, then she can't say you didn't send it to her.

She sounds like a nutter, and so it may be the case that she does neg you, there's not much you can do about that unless it falls under the criteria for removal.

Can you read the signature of the person who signed? I think that I would go through to ebay live support, she's threatening you with neg fb unless you refund her? She needs reporting & sterilising in case she decides to breed.

As for her not receiving your reply through Ebay - I often have to check my Ebay for messages as they do not always get sent on to me, so I don't disbelieve that part.

I just find it hard to believe that someone can be so silly as to try to claim non-delivery when they have just signed for something - maybe they got confused with another delivery?

There was a realy lengthy thread a few weeks back with this same situation. An item tracked as delivered but the buyer claimed otherwise, it went on for an AGE. She could possibly have it mistaken with another item though, you're right.

I can understand that part too but she must have gone into her 'my ebay' today as she sent me a message through that as well as the email. My 'sent' messages are all there. So either ebay messages are playing up and the courier is wrong or she's telling porkies?

Just for peace of mind, have you checked the PP address and Ebay address match? So many buyers have out of date addresses.

make sure you have uploaded the tracking number into Paypal under the transaction, it will show as posted and the buyer will be able to track it, then it may even say delivered.

advise them to raise the dispute and see what happens.
