freeview hd tv

I bought a new Sony kdl40ex403 with freeview hd built-in at comet a bit ago and im not receiving all my freeview channels or any of my hd I got my aerial. i checked on the freeview site and i should be able to receive them do i need to buy a freeview hd box even though its all built in pls help

Hi, the missing freeview channels are almost certainly due to a poor signal from the aerial. The missing freeview HD could be that your area hasn't started transmissions yet. My area doesn't start HD until September 2012.I used to repair tv's and found it extremely frustrating that people would go out and spend large sums on fancy televisions and not be prepared to pay £100 or so for a decent aerial. Feed in rubbish and you will get rubbish out AND the picture will probably look worse than an old CRT television.0
