Off for a short break to jersey tomorrow, from east midlands.
How far ahead of the flight time would you check-in? I know they recommend 2 hrs, but I think that is just to get you to spend money in the airport shops. With a 10 year old and an 80 year old in the party, we don't want to have all that time to kill in the airport. In addition, that would mean getting up at sparrows f*rt, and fighting thru the morning rush on the motorway.
I know check-in closes 40 mins before flight time. So if we aim for an hour before flight time, that'll be enough, won't it ??

I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.
