Email query on a blackberry
Hoping someone might be able to help me out here!
I recently set up my own business so Iv set up my business email on my blackberry as well as my personal email.
Now I dont want everybody I email to know my full name Id rather have it as my company name. Now when I email from my laptop from the business email the company name shows up as the senders name. But when I send an email from my blackberry on my business email it comes up my full name. This only happens on the phone.
I have went into the settings on the blackberry but there is nowhere I can change it. I also tried looking on the blackberry orange site where you add the email but there is no option there to change the sender name.
Is there any way of changing this? Like I said my name only shows up from an email from my phone and not from the laptop where it shows the business name

Are you using the Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) for your emails?
This happened to me. I received an email and replied but it went from another email address. You may have to check/change your default services in Options > Advanced Options > Default Services.
If not have you tried deleting the email address in the BIS and adding it again, then resending the service books. It should be exactly as your email address. You need to make sure you are using the correct email to send.

its sending from the correct adress on my blackberry as it shows the email. Iv checked by sending an email from my business email to my personal one from both my laptop and phone. And its def just my phone that comes up my name but laptop email sends as business name.
not got a problem with it as such its just going to be confussing for a customer if they get a reply from my phone or laptop its going to show up as different names. Want to keep it as the business name.
should I delete it from the blackberry site and try add it again?0 -
