should i do this-sorry if its complicated
i have 3 lines with t mobile and am dying for the iphone 4 like the rest of the world.
i can upgrade my £40 a month contract in november to this if i want.
i am cancelling my mobile broadband next month which would bring me down to 2 lines.
then i could take out a new contract with the iphone 4, keep my £40 one running until nov/dec then cancel, leaving only my iphone. this would avoid paying early contract termination fees.
or i could buy a payg iphone but i cant justify that cost of £500 to myself, would rather have it on a contract.
judging by vodafones new leaked tariffs it looks like you can get a 32gb phone on a £45 plan for £89.
sorry to go on a bit, im trying to explain best i can.
so options are this.
1) keep my contract running on £40 a month with a broken phone until nov/dec then take out the new contract.
2) buy a payg iphone and use it on my current contract
3) cancel mobile broadband then take out a new contract for the iphone which i would be paying for 2 contracts for maybe 3 months then cancel my existing one
im so confused.

Take one large glass of water and drink.
Now - consider that the rest of the world is not really dying for an iphone.
Wait till November and get yourself a better deal and save some more water and money.
Take another glass of water, go to loo.0 -
hahah thanks. i know im a bit ahead of myself.
but ive been using a phone with a broken screen for the past 15 months and could live with paying 2 contracts for 3 months0 -
If you have lived with it for a while, just live with it for another two months and you should be eligible for upgrade?
And if its broken once, don't buy it again I say - get a HTC desire - seems to be all the rage. Try something different and cheaper - I would like Nokia e72 but battery life on my existing e63 is poor.
Sony Mini Xperia 10 is another one I would like to try out.0 -
thanks for the advice, i do love nokia, am using an old broken n95 at the moment but i love apple, have an ipod touch and an applemac so just have my heart set on this.
cant work out the best way to do it though0 -
Well I have had an ipod 60gig and gave it back to me sis.
Then got the ipod 160gig myself and never used it.
Was given an ipod 8gig (what they call them cant remember) - sold that off on ebay.
So there you go - how much I like apple eh!
If you have to do it - get rid of the mobile broadband I guess (if you do not use it with a laptop or something) and sell existing phones to pay towards your iphone 4. Or just phone your network to haggle - sure they will want a sucker (I mean someone with too much money) ......0 -
hahah well i guess we're all different. i have an unlocked blackberry 8900, might sell that and put it towards the cost plus i wont have the mobile broadband.
but thanks for your advice, i think yo've convinced me, ill wait until november then hopefully the white one will be out and i can get that0
