TerminalA.co.uk

Hi

I am looking for a flight to Paris in October and after comparing the prices I have found through travelsupermarket that TerminalA.co.uk are the cheapest.

However I have been on their website and found the cost is even cheaper which is great when you are trying to get them for as cheap as possible but I have heard bad reports about them from other website forums and previous customers have advised others to avoid them at all costs - does anyone know if this is actually the case or if these people have been exceptional cases and they are actually ok to book through and not a scam?

Thanks

  • I've booked flights with TerminalA from Italy to England a couple of times before and had no problems...but maybe that's just me!
  • Hi - booked through them several times and they are definitely not a scam.

Their booking process is a bit cr*p though: their website does not seem to pick up all flights (or even all flights on the same carrier on a given day - and there is no option to search by time of day) and sometimes you get a different, higher price in step 2 of the booking process.

On the upside, they pay £ 4 cashback through Quidco or Topcashback, even for relatively cheap flights.

So in essence, if you've found them to be cheapest, go ahead.
  • Thanks for your replies guys that really helps!

Do you have to fax them copies of your debit / credit card which you book with in order to confirm your booking? Ive heard you do and really dont like the sound of that!

    Thanks

Terminal A adds on a £12 booking fee at the end. Does your quote include this?

    No. Payment is completed online.

Well, they don't always - and the amount the add when they do is not always the same, hence my comment above re. a higher price in step 2.
  • Thanks for all your help with this - I think I might give them a go as a few of you seem to have successfully used them before fine

    Thanks again x

How much are the flights on the airline's website? Anything on easyjet?

I've used them in the past & found them fine. However over the past few months there have been posts on here saying they are bust but still trading.

I would advise not touching TerminalA with a bargepole, because when things go wrong it would appear they have significant problems in refunding or resolving.

You should be able to match their flight prices somewhere else, because they are only a booking agent - try search engines like www.skyscanner.net (for charter flights) and www.kayak.co.uk for scheduled flights.

Where are you trying to fly from and what are the dates (out and back) and best price so far?
    British Ex-pat in British Columbia!
  • Im flying from manchester and the best price so far by far is terminala.co.uk and they have quoted £107 for 2 people return flights to Charles de Gaulle in october - the nearest other cheapest price I have found is through STA Travel who have quoted the same flight with Flybe (same times for departure and landing for both the outbound and return flights as Terminala) at £194 for us both so Terminala could potentially save me £100 which is a lot.

Does anyone know any other websites which offer cheap flights? Ive tried all the skyscanners, last minute, kayak, expedia, opodo, travelocity etc and cant find anything cheaper than TerminalA - can anyone help?

    Thanks
