I was a BM at a December wedding and there was a foot of snow! We had fur stoles and long gloves, but only wore them 'in transit' - we just had our strapless dresses on for the ceremony, photos etc, but didn't really feel the cold. The bride was the same...I think it was the adrenaline/excitment that kept us warm!
Checkout second hand/vintage shops for original 50's fur stoles/jackets - real fur is much warmer than fake and you can get really nice ones fairly cheap. But, importantly, everyone has different opinions about wearing real fur so it depends how you feel. Hopefully this won't spark a fur/no fur debate, but as a cold person it might be useful to know!0 -
