hello
i everytime i go outside in barely nothing and there is a horrible cold breeze i panic that i am not going to survive this week!
i'm having a 50's wedding and a short 50's dress but usually in winter am in skinny jeans, ugg boots, a thick jumper, parka, wooly scarf ( doctor who length hehe) and a lovely warm hat!
how the hell am i going to survive in a short knee length dress in the mid of December!
so what can i cover up with?! x

could you get some nice flesh colour tights and maybe a nice fifities style fur jacket for when you're outsite. I saw a lovely one in a wedding shop when they had a winter wedding display on! You wouldn't have to wear the jacket all day, just for when you're outside.. will try to find a pic..Now a married lady and loving it! Now..to clear that pesky mortgage! :beer:0

On Tuesday's episode of Gok's Fashion Fix, he layered a cream trench coat over a 50s style prom dress and belted it at the waist. I reckon that would look amazing for a 50s wedding.
Can't put a direct link up but if you go to http://www.channel4.com/goksfashionfix there is a link to the video of the outfit (called Ice Cream Colours) and an example of the coat. Obviously you could get a cheaper version and use different coloured piping/belt depending on your colour scheme
Alternatively, a fur bolero would be lovely. My mum had a cream one from Coast for my sister's wedding and it looked really nice.
And flesh coloured tights are essential for a winter wedding - M&S do toeless ones if you have peep toe shoes."A mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge." - Tyrion LannisterMarried my best friend 1st November 2014Loose = the opposite of tight (eg "These trousers feel a little loose")Lose = the opposite of find/gain (eg "I'm going to lose weight this year")0 -
