Why do people always call when you're eating your tea?0

lmc, it's sods law! It always happens!
Bun, I manage a gluten free diet, I just don't buy bread or biscuits and eat fruit instead - it can be interesting if I have gluten however (try Exorcist style projectile vomiting so fast I have to run to the toilet) or if I've had lactose (trumps that smell like something has died in my bowel.....that and if i've had both.....clear the lavatory!) It's not as hard, you just get used to not eating it, you'll tell after a few weeks if it has an effect, think it might be sugars and stuff that raises what your thyroid has to do....Ooooh, and if you're baking....get some xantham gum for bread as it gives the GF flour the stickiness that glten brings, and if making a batch of/big cake use some bananas instead of eggs (usually a banana for every 2) and it makes the cakes moister and taste nicer
OK, after the science lesson...I went to Primark and spent £45 on lovely lovely clothes, including a GORGEOUS pale pink/sepia pink dress with patterns on, just need a lightweight jacket and I am funkydo! Also, fella phoned earlier, I did text him but he was asleep but that' OK, I'll speak to him online later
ETA: Also sorted out some of my 'fat' clothes for my mum and little sister, as they're both losing weight. Also got a pair of long shorts in Primark that are the wrong size, so I've put them in the 'give to Mum' pile as she'll love them, they're nice and baggy and cover the knee so she won't sweat to death in her brace.** Total debt: £6950.82 ± May NSDs 1/10 **** Fat Bum Shrinking: -7/56lbs **

Back from the salon at work, had my hair washed and blow dried for the learner's portfolio. This made me laugh - also posted this on FB.....the learners and the 'clients' are written up on a whiteboard and what they are having done in that session. Look who was sat in the chair next to me :rotfl: (I'm the finger dry for those who don't know my real name
)

ooooooooooh, you're going to be in trouble, I wouldn't dare say anything like that, I'm too nice
:rotfl:
Finger dry is literally where they use their fingers on the hair to kind of lift it from the root. I have lots of long, curly hair and they are all practising using a diffuser on me to get the defined curls.
