Travelodge customer service telephone number?

Hi Guys

Was wondering if anyone has a customer service telephone number for travelodge pref not 0870.

Have had a nightmare with them!!

I booked a £26 room for Gatwick for next week then unfortunately my nan passed away and we have had to change travel plans due to the funeral. I contacted travelodge as I wanted to transfer booking to Harlow the following night. I was told that this shouldn't be a prob but to e-mail customer services which I did. Because they haven't got back now the rate for Harlow is the full rate. They spoke to Hubby yest and have offered a refund on origanal room but it will now cost us £2 more than if they hadn't refunded us at all. Was promised a phone call yest after they had listened to recording of the call but they haven't bothered to call back.

Don't let them fob you off with custermer services number just say you have tried and they couldn't help and didn't offer a call back from someone who could. THey then out you through to someone at head office.

The 01844 Number seems to ring out a lot.

I did however have success calling through to the Customer services number 08719110009. Despite it being an 0871 number, the guy was very helpful and managed to process an Evoucher for me within 20 minutes.

To give you the background, I also had to make an amendment quite late in the day and had previously been told by several people at the call centre number (08719848484) and the hotel directly that there was nothing that could be done quickly.

If you're in this situation, call up the customer services number and explain the urgency of the matter, they seem reasonable and as long as you don't start off with all guns blazing (after being sent round the houses so much I was very tempted to!), I'd say you'll be successful.

Firstly I am unsure why you are advocating the use of an 0871 number and secondly the OP is almost 6 years old!
