i cannot access my accounts with explorer8, but can with firefox and safari.
using ie8 i can get as far as the 3 selected characters, followed by text rather than html. then whatever i choose the system logs me out.

I've just opened a new account last week with them. Will i automatically get the new On line banking?0

Its not just egg, mines has changed over and although I can access it on First Direct Money Manager it does not refresh properly.0

Does this mean that HBOS online banking will be changing aswell so they all opearate on a similar system or is this what the update to lloyds online banking is?Full Time Student

It is changing gradually.
Not all customers can access the new on line site. They are rolling it out to customers in batches.
There will be a few changes to come especially for Halifax customers with the integration of the new systems for those customers as well.

Halifax can see Lloyds TSB accounts and visa versa now?0 -
I mean there internal systems.
No, they still use their own old systems.
Those on the new Lloyds internet banking are now on a new system (different to both the old Halifax and Lloyds systems), but the computers used in the banks (e.g. in branches etc) are still entirely separate (at the moment).0
