Travelling around Australia

Lots of backpackers buy campervans to travel in then sell them the other end. Try someting like gumtree or ebay for an idea.

In Sydney are cheapest time to buy pertrol is Tuesday evening/Wednesday morning and the most expensive in Thursday, after Thursday prices generally reduce again until the following weeks big jump (can be over 10c a litre increase overnight). When travelling between QLD and NSW buy the petrol before leaving QLD as the tax is subsidsed there.

There are plenty of hostels to stay in when you are in the cities and if you are staying for a while then rooms in shared houses are fairly easy to come by.

Thanx everyone for the advice and info will defo come in handy!
Think we will look into getting a campervan nearer the time!

Does anybody know of any employment agency's where we could get some temporary work?
Preferably in the sports area i.e. coaching football (soccer) or other sports?

they look good, but couldn't image staying in 1 for the full 9/12 months!!
