    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.

Just a few thoughts . I have had both upper and lower transplants. (whole mouth!!) unfortunately I had very little bone left, so had to have bone transplants. I had all this done in Spain............... I cannot speak highly enough of the treatment and care I received. It was done in a hospital, and I haad done a lot of research.
A word of warning to anyone contemplating extensive implants. I would think VERY carefully if you are not "near" your dentist in case of problems. (I am lucky and come over to Spain on a regular basis,)
When the healing process is over, you have to have various fittings, a bit impractical if you are hundreds of miles away?
I would think hard and long before taking the plunge abroad, but do of course understand how expensive it is in the U.K. For just a couple of implants, I cannot forsee too many problems, but be VERY VERY careful who you choose and where.
