Wow - well it does seem they were trying to "pull our pants down" doesnt it?!? Anyway, thanks for all the advice and I have now got another quote which comes to £650. I am happier with as there are a few tricky aspect to the fitting with kitchen units to lift and fit laminate under etc...
Whilst i'm on i intend going to purchase the flooring tomorrow and will need to get the underlay. I have absolutely no idea what the going rate is for decent underlay for concrete asphelt floors - can anyone give me an idea?0
