I think what you suggested seemed utterly sensible, except for the fact that companies can act like utter Nazis from time to time, just to prove they can - tbh, I wouldn't even admit to having sold the vouchers in the first place! True, they can "prove" it by looking on eBay, etc., buying them off you, but why make it easy on them by providing a confession, which they can then go on to twist? Admitting yourself to be in the wrong is doing their work for them!

Good point sophy hadnt thought of it that way

The police cannot do anything. I would just try and forget about it.

Yes the police will do Diddly Swot about this. It is a civil matter and the company involved will have to take you to court, dont amit to anything let them gather any evidense.
If it ever gets to court, imo it wont, i wouldn't be suprised if they get their knuckles rapped for wasteing the Courts time.

If they want compensation tell them you can pay in VOUCHERS

I don't understand how there are left over papers on a paper round, I ran a newsagents for some time and the papers are marked up and exact numbers are sent out. If you are aware you have done something wrong I would apologise to the company now before it gets out of hand. I wish you luck and hope things work out ok.

Reading this does not suprise me in the slightest...we are terrified to go out in the dark, watch our purses etc, kids get mugged for trainers...but the someone selling vouchers is being pursued? Is it me or are the priorities all wrong??

floflo. my daughter had a round of 187 houses. the papers get delivered in 50 pile packs so she gets 4 packs which makes it 200 papers.

the leaflets dont get counted. He just gets a big bunch and thats it. If there isnt enough then fine if there is too many they go in the recycle bin.

I very much doubt that the police will do anything and anyway shouldnt they be out catching proper criminals not wasting their valuable time. If the coupons were left over you did nothing wrong - your daughter delivered what she was supposed to and the rest were rubbish you just recycled your rubbish through ebay.

Keep smiling and try not to worry.
