i sold a few lots!!

i had the target man round tonight!

my daughter has lost her paper round and i am awaiting a call from the police!

I sold a few lots of the free rice ones witch were left over from my daughters paper round.

I have been told the police are already involved.

apparently a person who works for the company who gave the free leaflets away found my details! the person mustve bought from me to get all my info!

Scary stuff. Although most coupons say not for re-sale - is it actually illegal?? What law is actually broken? Would be interested to know. I've never actually sold any myself - never got enough :rotfl:

Hope everything works out well Catsonic - like you say there are loads of ebayers selling codes and coupons all the time - so surely if its illegal then ebay shouldnt allow it to be sold on there site. Cyber hug also being sent to you.
Ps. maybe if it does start to look like it could get quite serious, then you could always write a letter of apology and offer to donate the profits made (after ebay listing fees, paypal fees, postage etc) to a charity - that way you are accepting that you now know that its wrong - if it is wrong that is.

There are alot of people selling codes/ coupons / vouchers on ebay. maybe they are cutting down and tracking the people.

I brought a whole lot of redoute codes recently from ebay for £10. but it saved me loads. I hope they dont stop it cuz it can be very usefull.

Most companies are happy for people to use the codes. It gains extra sales and publicity. I'm sure the police aren't interested either.

Why not just tell the bloke you sold a voucher that came free with your newspaper. It's capitalism, not illegal and he can go away...
