Could be illegal if they have been removing coupons from publications before delivering them. Companies pay to have their leaflets inserted into publications. Not saying that its crime of the century but a silly.

Sadly, this is a fact of ebay life. I recently had an auction cancelled for an innocent CD, when there were at least 5 others selling the same thing! EXACTLY the same thing.
On a separate occasion, about a year ago, before many people had heard of her, I tried to sell a Corinne Bailey Rae album sampler on ebay, and was come down very hard upon by (apparently) her record company - I did nothing wrong as the auction was pulled (by ebay) before anyone bought it, but when I contacted the record company to ask why 100 others were still allowed to sell the same CD, I never got a reply.
It's unfortunate but it's very hit and miss. You'll frustratingly see that 100s of others are still allowed to continue selling the vouchers - I have no idea why they pick on some people yet leave others alone for the same 'offence'! Pure bad luck, I think

Oh no hope it works out OK
  • I think you deserve everything that you get. I am a voucher user and thank Welsh Gragon (diolch yn fawr). However, selling these coupons is not only fraud but spoils it for everone else.
I think you are a thief, a fraudster and a bad example to your daughter who appears to be punished for your bad behaviour. I hope you recieve an appropriate fine for your transgressions.

A bit harsh. I suppose you only use vouchers on things you purchase.

I think what the problem here is that there are some people on Ebay who, quite obviously, sell leaflets that they meant to deliver but didn't - we're talking people who sell hundreds, which clearly can't be just leftovers! It has always annoyed me when people have done that.

If you were just selling a few leftovers, then surely that shouldn't be a major issue? Explain what happened, I mean, if they're going to investigate (which I somehow doubt ) and they'll see that your daughter did deliver all her stuff, then it should be ok... I hope!

    Good luck! :)

Re the post about you writing a letter of apology if things get heavy - I would think very carefully about admitting any kind of wrongdoing in writing if I were you, without taking legal advice first. Even if the letter explains all your mitigating circs, it could do more harm than good.
