Nightmare Lottery Win

In January a friend and i won on the lottery. It wasnt the jackpot but we did get 5+bonus ball.

I use the online lottery and my numbers had run out. While i was picking numbers i asked a few friends to throw some random numbers my way. My friends sister said "why dont u put them numbers on that i dreamt yrs ago?" saying that she`s had good luck and the ppl she has given the numbers to had won money.

I put the numbers on for 2wks sat an wed. I said to my friends "If i hit the jackpot girls i`ll see u all right"

On the wednesday eve i got a call from the girl who dreamt the numbers saying that i had won.

At the time i lived in a rented house and was in a bit of dept so i paid off the lot and bought a brand new house, i also invested a large amount in shares.

My friend who shared with me did the same.

We gave my friends sister £5000 and as she suffers from angina we paid for her to see private consultants as thanks for the numbers.

Now 5 months down the line we are getting phone calls, threats and on 1 networking site the abuse an foul language is getting so bad we have had to remove ourselves.

This is because the numbers girl has told ppl she is entitled to half.

She has said some very nasty things and continues to do so by making very silly aqusations and saying she is contacting the police.

All this is from my friends sister who is also getting the same abuse.

Do i get a solicitor? Do i go to the police. this woman is crazy and to be honest im not sure now what she or the ppl she knows are capable of.

Half of the money is a lot when she didnt even offer to give half for the ticket in the first place.

Ask her to dream up the next winning numbers and you will put £1 on these for a year and give her the tickets so that she can claim the lot.

    If this is for real...

She didnt buy the ticket, so no claim.
If you hadn't set up a "syndicate" she has no claim.

You have already rewarded her by giving cash and paying for medical treatment.

I can see why shes upset, but you;ve done enough. She shouldn't have told you her "dream numbers" without paying a share of the ticket, esp as she told you to use them!

She's jealous because she didn't get round to putting her money where her mouth was and bitter because the numbers came up. Ultimately it is greed on her part that she now wants more. Not sure how you deal with her though.

If she was so sure about the numbers being lucky why didn't she use the numbers herself as well?
Maybe you should take some screenshots of anything that has been written on your social networking page, also get an answering machine and either screen the calls or if she ( or someone else) calls and threatens you, then you can record the conversation.
I understand that she is disappointed and perhaps feels that she deserved more of a share, however that doesn't make it ok to threaten someone.
