t-mobile - post PAC code offer

Rang t-mobile to request a PAC code last week as wanted to change network for a better deal, trying to get them to give me a PAC code was hard work & then they charged me for it! At the time they kept trying to offer me deals that i could not afford, to stay.

I signed up with a good contract with vodafone with a HTC phone. then on mon morning got a phone call from somone on t-mobiles outbound team offering me a great deal to stay with them. told the guy that i needed to check that he really was a t-mobile representative, he said to go ahead& get t-mobile to email him to say to call me back.

when i checked it was a legimate call. but the guy has not called me back despite 3 phone calls to t-mobile who assured me they have emailed him. I stupidly cancelled my new vodafone contract & have to send the phone back, I am now wondering can I reinstate the vodafone contract as I don't think the guy from the outbound team is going to call me back.

I'm just wondering has anyone had a similar thing happen to them?:mad:

I don't know how T staff their call centres, but with ours the staff work 3 day on, 3 days off. So he might call you yet if you just missed him ?

thanks Jono1, I'm hoping he will, if he doesn't, do you think a phone call to vodafone will sort out the new contract that I cancelled? have yet to send back the phone & form they emailed me.

I think you have 14 days to return it.

The acc won't have been cancelled completely until they get the phone back, so I'm sure if you called them they could set it live again.

I take it you've tried to get the same deal from the regular sales staff?
