Hi,

I have had Sky HD for over 24 months now and I have the following which is nice and simple:

05/06/2010 - 04/07/2010 Sky+ Subscription £0.00 05/06/2010 - 04/07/2010 Sky+HD Pack £10.00 05/06/2010 - 04/07/2010 4 Pack with Sports Pack £39.00 05/06/2010 - 04/07/2010 ESPN £9.00 Subtotal £58.00

I don't need the internet, phone, movies etc

This is costing me £58.00 which I think is too high.

Any suggestions\tips to get better rates?

Thanks

  • I have just phoned Sky about my package as my bill has topped £100 for the last 2 months. I explained that this was getting too expensive and I needed to look at what I could cut from my package to reduce my monthly payments.

In speaking with the very nice Scottish gentleman on the phone, I now have my full TV package for 1/2 price for 3 months and HD free for 6 months (as long as I continued to have sports which I have already) My TV which had been £65.50 a month is now less than £30. I haven't lost any of my channels and didn't have to threaten to leave to get this. At times it seems to pay to be nice :j as I didn't need to apply any pressure.

    That's the normal price.
As jojo says, you could phone them up, maybe say you're thinking of moving to Virgin, see what they offer.
