I've also switched from the normal Online rate to the Fix8.
The prices are the same but the discount is double, and I don't expect the costs to go down in 1 year anywayBeing brave is going after your dreams head on0 -
I have today switched from FixOnline v5 to v8. The website still says that you might be charged a cancellation fee. Does anyone know how one can establish that this fee has definitely not been applied? Thanks.0

I think the EON rep should tell us if anybody has EVER been charged the £30 penalty.
I am actually quite curious how heinous you have to be to qualify for this penalty. Do you have to charge EON HQ with an assault rifle and kidnap the CEO before somebody actually gets a penalty notice?0 -
I thought Eon was supposed to be cheap?
Paid a bill March to May now they sent another for fifty pounds which is only about a month and I dont even have TV as I dont watch it or use electric lights much however baths have to have those.Gas seems to be the most expensive as my cooker is gas however I only use that for boiling milk
Im quite stunned to get a bill so soon I thouht around August would be next one0 -
Stuff it
Im fed up of this !!!!ry waaay past 3 years now.
Gonna move to China
Lets hope 2012 is real and we dont have to pay bloody energy bills ever again0 -
I switched today from v3 to v8 through the website.
I checked with Customer Services first that I wouldn't incur a penalty and he said I wouldn't because I was still with EON.
Have lost future Clubcard points but annual energy bill now reduced by £91.:)0 -
I think that EON should amend their web site. If you are going to be charged a fee for changing tariffs it should warn you this during the change process with the option to abort the change if this is the case.0

The £30 fee is only charged if you move away from Eon - not change tariffs within Eon0 -
Hi Pincher,
In the past the £30 cancellation fee has been charged.
At this present time we are not applying the cancellation fee to customers changing from a historic FixOnline tariff to the most current as this is seen as an extension of the current tariff.
