Nintendo target EVERYONE, I sell Nintendo products to more adults than kids, i'm 19, and have been a loyal fangirl of Nintendo since I could remember because I do like the game style.
Nintendos consoles have always been horizontal anyway...~*Cerenia*~

I think we've now established that the PS3 is the illiterates console of choice!seafu wrote:let just if sony own Pokemon, Mario, Donkey Kong, Kirby, and other characters that belong to nintendo are you still a fans with nintendo?
Nintendo are target on young gamer and that how they make profits
like Pokemon, Mario, donkey Kong, Kirby, other etc these characters are belong and copyright to nintendo.
Grand theft Auto made for all console -they have notting to do with nintendo.
Nintendo are all about FUN for any ages.
don't talk about movement senor control -
if you know game history.
try ask your self:
why Wii start making Game on DVD?
(sega, sony console made cd and dvd game long ago)
why Wii show off placing the console horizontal at gameshow?
(yes the love the ps2 horizontal stand)
How and where did Wii get the ideas design thier game control from?
(sony tv remote controller other DVD player or sega? if you know sega history)
abit about Game history:
PlayStation Magazine shows how the PS3 motion sensing controller is not so revolutionary after all via demoing a Pelican controller created 1999 and the original Warhawk for the PS1
PS3 Warhawk for the PS1 motion sensing controller
or could they copy from microsoft?
microsoft sensing controller
all this above:

Sony rules in our house, other consoles not cool enough(according to son) as only Sony will do.QUOTE]
How/Why did he end up with 2 PSPs?
Sony do make a good console but for that money I wouldn't bother. I'm sure that the pester power of a teenager is less that that of a younger child, as it can be explained that it's too much money to spend.
In addition, in the US it will cost $499 and $599
http://www.us.playstation.com/PS3/about.html
ended up with 2 psps as i ordered 1 from kays with the discount code offer for new customers and they did not have any avaliable till after xmas,so bought 1 from ebay and you guessed it the other 1 turned up in time from xmas!!
would have sent it back, but boyfriend wanted it. so we now have 2(actually very handy on a long haul flight)
as for pester power i also have a 4 year old so, know all about that.my son did not actually ask for a psp,but as his friends were having them i thought it would be nice for him to get 1 at xmas too.
son not actually asked for a ps3 either. i said we would end up with 1 as i have a 28 yr old boyfriend who thinks hes still a teenager and as the wage earner it is he who would buy 1, but my son who would ultimatley get most use from it as boyf at work.
anyway not relevent now as weve all got to wait till next year.
didnt realise my 1st post on this subject had caused such fuss

I'm sure the PS3 will sell well enough, what's another £400 of CC debt to the red-top reading, ignorant masses?
not sure i like your tone.
who didnt wear tracksuits and trainers when they were a teenager? we all grow up to know better(well most do.)
as for being ignorant, you are obviously the ignorant one. i assume you havnt got any kids after making such stereotypical comments, suppose you dont have a credit card either as you are obviously much superior than the rest of us.

I think you seem to be suffering from an anger problem. It's only the internet and we are only discussing games consoles, I shudder to think what your reaction would be if someone was to have the temerity to disagree with your point of view in a discussion about something more earth-shatteringly important. Calm down.
PS And your signature seems to match the aggressive tone of your post. A signature like that really does put pressure on you to be grammatically correct every time you post. Maybe I'll be checking up regularly.....;)I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0 -
Just a thought on the selling price of the ps3
When the xbox 360 came out many people pre-ordered several xbox's and listed them onto ebay. As many stores only had a certain amount of pre orders available most people could not get hold of one on in the first few weeks. Many of these were going for £700 and some even higher just because they wanted them at launch.
I was one of the people selling. I sold 6 in total with the lowest price being £630.
It's been in the media that many shops were thinking about not allowing pre-orders and just listing their launch allocation on ebay and taking as much money as possible.
Maybe sony have caught on to this and thought well if people are willing to pay that amount of money then we may as well just charge it and reduce the price a few months later and make people think they are getting a bargain, when really they will just be reducing the sale price to what it should have been originally.
I also read that sony have spent over $1 billion developing the unit and thay need to get that money back as quickly as possible so as not to upset shareholders.0 -
