Contract Ending - Confusion!
My contract is ending in Feb.2011, going by my contract I should recieve my last set of mins/texts on the 10th Jan 2011. What happens to my phone after I send them the cancellation letter, does my sim card become void and when should I expect it to, on the 10th of Feb (when I would have recieved new mins, or before?)
I would call 3 customer services but they can be misleading.
Also if my last bill is 28th Feb, I should send the letter at the end of Jan right?

The best course would probably be just to contact them on the phone to get a PAC code when you can. Usually you can do this 30 days before your contract end date.0 -

Your contract does not cease, it just becomes a rolling 30 day contract. All you have done is the minimum required term.
If you do nothing it will keep going as it has been. If you want to cancel then you need to do it 30 days before , so they have 30 days notice and it cancels as you end that minimum term.
If you want to port the number you need a PAC code, but you cannot cancel and request a PAC. a PAC need the account to be active to work, so if you cancel then request a PAC the cancellation is cancelled.
The Pac is only valid 30 days, if you don't use it it lapses and you revert to the 30 day rolling contract.0 -
Try and time it so the number is ported right at the end of your contract to avoid overlap, or you'll be paying for two contracts simultaneously for a while.0

Depending on the T&C of your current contract the use of a PAC can be seen as in lieu of the 30 days notice so you may have an overlap of 30 days on both networks.0
