Digital trouble with BBC channels

Can anybody help, please? I bought a Freeview recording box early last year and it worked fine for any channel I wanted to watch or record. Since our region [Granada] switched to digital last year, I have only been able to watch BBC channels when there is nothing recording on another channel, and I am unable to record anything from the BBC. If I do, I get a very disjointed recording, skipping and jumping . I have tried re-tuning my digibox several times but this makes no difference.

Retuning your box is not enough; you have to delete all channels first, or do a factory reset, then retune.0
