Aww cattie you need to get a few minutes to compose yourself honey. Can you get away?

If you specifically said DD's to go out on 30th and this was agreed then surely under the Direct Debit guarantee this can be sorted out?

Sorry that the loans thing didn't work out....but you never know, it may be a blessing in disguise as loans aren't always the way to go (sorry - I don't know your circumstances...I apologise if I am way off the mark there).

Try to get a bit of time away - no-one is going to sack you for crying.....

I think there's a problem with trying to do Direct Debits any later in the month than the 30th. It's all February's fault so I believe. B@stard! ;):D

I don't think that's the case. I recently set up a DD to leave on 31st of each month and they just said that's fine but in the case of a month where there aren't 31 days, the DD would come out on the last working day...which is usually fine as you would have been paid by then.

Definitely check it out though. If you have it in writing that the payment date is 30th then there's been a c**k up and it has to be sorted out.

Why not setup a bills account and a seperate account for non DD`s, when you get paid pay the amount that all the DD`s come to into the bills account and get the direct debits setup from that account to pay the bills.

Job done it wont matter what time of the month the DD comes out as the money will be there.
If it doesnt pay rent sell it.

Because I like to have a bit of a safety net I've set all my direct debits up to go out on the 2nd of the month so that in case there are any problems with my paycheck going in I have time to fix it :)

I do a mix between tine and roswell's methods

I get paid last Friday of the month, money goes out of current account to safety Bill account then gets moved back to current account 25th of the month so the money is there for it when the DDs go out whenever I get paid.
