We have just got a motorbike for my husband to get to work during the week. So we now have a bike and car to insure. Can anyone suggest a good insurance company.
The bike will be used to go the 15 miles a day to get to work and the odd weekenda away without the sprogs and the car will be used to ferry the family about at weekends and holidays.
Thanks very much.

Are you hoping that you can insure both the bike and car with one company? In my experience you can't. Our 2 cars are with one co but the bike is with a co that does only bike ins.
Best advice I can give you is to get your yellow pages and call as many co's as your patience will allow. I do this for both cars and the bike and get it cheaper every year.
I wouldn't say that one co is better than the next as everyones experiences are different. Also just because one co is cheap for one person, it might not be for the next.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
Thanks for that. Will have to look on moneysaver.com I guess.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

I use
https://www.ebikeinsurance.co.uk
A lot of my friends use it too.
Also a lot of people say Carole Nash is good (google for the website).0 -

i ride a motorbike and i checked quidco AA was 200 quid more expensive for £11 or so cashback
ebikesure was 100 quid more expensive for me
the cheapest 1 i have found so far is http://www.motorcycledirect.co.uk/. paying 250 quid a year fully comp ungaraged
getting motorbike insurance is a pain. Shop around some places will take the micky0 -
Thanks for the advice everyone. I have just become a Quidco member so will search for car insurance and see if it can be done through them. This is gonna be more work than I thought I can see!!!BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

Carole Nash do an OMNI policy which covers bike and car and has breakdown cover included.Good value, but this year I managed to get cheaper by insuring them seperately.Worth a call though.0

My hubbies is with Profile bike insurance, we used them for 8 ears now and they are always the cheapest for usAlways on the hunt for a bargain0

Have you not tried Cornhill Direct? They've been a good, reliable car insurance provider for us for the past few years, and I believe they now partner with Motorcycle Direct to offer bike insurance.0
