Is it common for Voda to send out faulty replacement handsets?
I am on my 2nd replacement handset after my original broke last week. This is also faulty. The first replacement had a fult with the sliding mechanism, and the speaker was very crackly. This new replacement handset refuses to charge up. At first I thought it was my charger was knackered because I trapped it in a window. The charger I trapped charges up my boyfriend's work phone and my next door neighbour's phone no problem. I got a new charger and it seems that my phone refuses to charge. I changed the battery, although the old battery was absolutely fine before I sent my original handset and it isn't the battery. The last 2 handsets have had faults which have left them unusable. The handset is a Nokia 6210 Navigator just in case you people want to know.
They are sending me yet another handset tomorrow and I refuse to believe that they will send me one that actually works. If this is the case they will allow me to change to a different handset altogether but I don't want to end up signed to a new contract. I really want out of vodafone altogether, I can't bear to stick with them for another 2 years. I have 9 months left of a 2 year contract.
So, will I end up on a new contract or will I be able to get a better phone and cancel my dealings with them altogether next March when my current contract ends? I'm really not impressed with Vodafone. I expressed my needs to having a phone that works due to my illnesses. The dodgy phone left me having to walk nearly 2 miles today to catch a bus with a severe muscle strain in my back as I was unable to call for a taxi from the doctors. I HATE VODAFONE!!!!
Experience of this and advice most welcome. I'm baying for blood. Sorry about the ramblings, I'm as high as a kite right now (prescription drugs, nothing else!)

Yaaay, I finally conned a man into making a honest woman of me. Even more shocking is that I can put the words "Happily" and "Married" into the same sentence and not have life insurance on my mind when I say it ;-)
